About Pattison Institute
The Pattison Institute is dedicated to providing quality education in periodontics to dental and dental hygiene students as well as practicing dentists, dental hygienists, periodontists, and educators. Our goal is to promote excellence in clinical periodontics, especially periodontal instrumentation, with an emphasis on a team approach to patient care.
The Pattison Institute was founded in 2001 by Anna Matsuishi Pattison, RDH, MS and Gordon L. Pattison, DDS, to provide live continuing education lectures and hands-on advanced periodontal instrumentation workshops for practicing dental professionals.
Choose the membership plan that fits your needs. We offer annual student, practitioner, institution and continuing education packages with full access to our dental education videos.

Our Mission
All of us can be a powerful force to eradicate periodontitis. Through patient education, early diagnosis, and excellence in instrumentation, this disease can be treated effectively and ultimately prevented.
As one individual you may feel that treating so many is an impossible task, but collectively we can improve the lives of millions.
Each of you can make a real difference in the quality of life for every patient that you treat. As a superior clinician with enhanced skills, you can significantly decrease this disease in your community.
This is our mission. Let’s do it together.
